My Story
Anthony Pacheco, a native of the Astoria neighborhood, was raised in the beautiful borough of Queens and exposed to many different people and cultures throughout his life. He participated in the classic dance festivals of P.S 85, played drums in the school band at I.S 141, and competed on the city championship gymnastics team at Long Island City high school; he is a true Astorian in every bit of the sense. This sense of Queens culture eventually ignited the spark for him to further serve his community as an educator in the Department of Education where he taught special education for 7 years.
Throughout his teaching career, Anthony worked with children with Autism, Down Syndrome and many disadvantaged and marginalized youth coming out of the underserved areas within Queens. As an extension to his teaching career, Anthony actively participates in social work projects sanctioned by the European Union. His social work is based on improving the inclusion of migrant children in the different countries they reside in.
Anthony holds a Bachelor's degree from Lehman College where he earned a major in marketing and a minor in psychology. His degree and willingness to work with his community are the key factors which led to his selection as head of marketing for the Victorious Advisory team. Anthony isn't afraid to take a hand to hand approach in reaching out to his community to gauge where he can help in any way possible.
My Philosophy
